“If you believe you can or if you believe you can’t…you’re right!” Henry Ford
PSYCH-K is a form of Energy Psychology. It is an incredibly effective tool for re-writing the programmes of the subconscious mind, where most of our self-sabotaging beliefs lie dormant. At least 95% of our consciousness operates from the subconscious, leaving very little to our conscious awareness. Psych-K can quickly and effectively change negative and self-destructive subconscious beliefs into positive ones, with long-lasting effects. The conscious mind processes an average of 2000 bits of info per second and can manage just a few tasks at a time, while the subconscious mind processes an average of 4 billion bits of information per second and can handle thousands of tasks simultaneously.
PSYCH-K uses a process of whole-brain integration so that the left and right side of the brain can work together. Usually we operate more strongly from one side of the brain, particularly when we are facing an issue or a problem. But PSYCH-K enables us to operate simultaneously from both the left and right sides of the brain, creating a whole-brain state, and thus permanently rewriting our negative subconscious beliefs by changing them to positive ones. This unique process is a blend of various tools for change, derived both from contemporary neuroscience research, as well as ancient mind/body wisdom.
PSYCH-K was originated in 1988 by Robert M. Williams, M.A. as a response to the frustration that came with the realization that typical counseling techniques, which rely almost exclusively on “insight” and “motivation,” seldom create real and lasting changes.
Bruce H. Lipton, PhD is an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit, a stem cell biologist, the bestselling author of The Biology of Belief and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award. He explains the science behind behaviour change and how this affects biology. Robert Williams , the originator of PSYCH-K shows the way to achieve this on a practical level with this exciting tool.
This is a process that transcends the standard methods of visualization, affirmations, will power, and positive thinking and is especially effective in the areas of behavioral/habit change, wellness and stress reduction.
